High Speed Rail

There is some really great infotainment at the California High-Speed Rail Authority website. (Also, they seem to be following the recent trend of appropriating Obama's branding.) I love how in these videos, buildings and green spaces sprout up around the new train terminals -- reaching out to a generation raised on Sim City.
Under 3 hours to go from Anaheim to San Francisco! 20 minutes from Anaheim to Los Angeles -- I can't see how this doesn't have a tremendous effect on the ever crushing traffic in LA. This is really exciting (though watching these overly happy videos kinda reminds me of the commercials for "Delta City" in Robocop 2).
